It started at 2 Shepard St., Marrickville, Sydney, walking into a unassuming warehouse on warm Australian summer’s day, My senses were ignited with the scent of essential oils and the passion from my then boss and founder of Vanessa Megan, by the power of these ingredients and the benefits of pure natural skincare products and candles, as well as the harms of many widely used chemicals.

On returning to London several years later I began making my own candles and experimenting with oil blends and continued to work as a Buyer until I had my daughter in 2020.

With my soon to be (I hoped) surname fitting in nicely with my brand values I set about creating ethical and luxurious candles made from quality materials. I worked meticulously, and inspired from the nature around me in rural East Sussex began making products that were simple and wholesome, while being mindful of the environment and without compromising on style.

Since I started I’ve been been lucky enough to be supported by local markets and shops as well as my family and friends, evolving all the time and grateful to be doing something I enjoy so much!
